From The President

Welcome to Lakeland Junction.  Our community was established in the early 1980's and has undergone so many changes since then.  In the early days, the property was the site of a Railroad Junction, which is how the name and theme for the park was established and continues to be a theme we carry with us today.  We are a community of 194 homes which is small in comparison with many other parks.  Our size lends itself to creating a close-knit atmosphere amongst our Residents.

We hope that you will enjoy the website and use it to share recipes, items for sale and pictures.  We are trying to expand the use of the website and Michelle Cowle has volunteered to tinker around with the website to help spark some interest in usage.  If there is anything you would like to see on the website, please don't hesitate to share your ideas with her.  Her email is [email protected].

We have many activities that take place weekly.  If you are interested in hosting an event, please let us know. Our Entertainment Group has Pancake Breakfast, Dances and special events like Superbowl Parties.  Our Women's Club is very active in Bingo Concessions (which allows those coming to Bingo to have a bite to eat and/or indulge in dessert.  The money raised at Bingo Concessions is donated to 4 charities in our community.  The Women's Club also goes out to lunch as a group once a month.  There is no need to join the Club as it is open to all of the Women in the park.  Resident's Coffee is held on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month and is open to all Residents, and Men's Coffee is held twice a week just for the guys.  Not all events run year-round so be sure the check the Newsletter for time frames.

Hope to see everyone out and about as well as at the HOA General Meetings which are held on the third Thursday of the month (October to April) at 7:00 p.m.
